Andrea Maaseide Design

High Point Part II

Andrea MaaseideComment

Market is a great time of year for designers and people within our industry.  I always return home so inspired by the new products and vendors we find.

I wanted to share just a few of the interesting and inspirational items I found on my pilgramige to "Design Mecca".

Andrea and I were on a mission this Market to resource art.  SoicherMarin had some great pieces, including these ink-bolt tests printed in a fun modern color. In a group they make a great statement......and they might tell you something about your inner psyche =)

I am usually not a girl who loves horse art, but I really liked the scale of this image (huge!) and the triptych composition.

Anything African I love! Especially elephants...my favorite.

Surrounding the main building for Market - IHFC -  there are stand-alone vendors, some of which are in Highpoint year round.

One of my favorite places to visit is Golden Oldies. It is just jam packed full of amazing finds.

It might be hard to see in this picture but I love this piece...I would have brought it home if I had the space. It is a wall mounted candle holder.  It would be amazing outdoors under a pergola in the summer.

We always make time to pop into Gabby.   They have a lovely showroom and we love their products. They also have a great unique finds program.  I, of course, was immediately drawn to this BEAUTIFUL, original antique.  It came with a hefty price tag.

Sorry this image is not the best. This storage hutch is a French antique with hand carved details.

Loloi is a new vendor this year for Andrea and I. They offer great home textiles such as pillows and area rugs.

They had great accent pillows. I love this collection with all the different textures.

And of course there was this piece. I just fell in love....maybe it's because summer is just around the corner.

Cheers,
