CONTAINER LOVE

Andrea MaaseideComment

I was kind of hoping that we could have a little more of this this weekend...

Gardening, sunshine... you know, April weather stuff.

I've been thinking about amping up our home's curb appeal and I've had my eye on these really cool, oversized containers.  They come in white, black (my preference), or even turquoise!

I'm more of a container kind of girl... decreases the chances of me killing things.  I think I've mentioned before that I don't exactly have a green thumb.

As much as I love color and lots of it, I'm drawn to simplicity in container gardens.  I love the look of these containers with just basic boxwoods.  So classy and clean.

I also love the soft, relaxed look of grasses like this bamboo muhly grass.  Combined with this elegant, curved container, it's quite dramatic.

You can create drama by grouping multiple, similar containers with a unique plant in each container.

Each container houses a single plant.  Easy enough.  Together they create a lovely, sophisticated grouping. {Via Pinterest}

This grouping - again just varying shades of green and lots of textures - is incredibly eye catching.  {Via Houzz}

Succulents are an easy care plant... perfect for someone like me.  The small touches of  color are just perfect. {Via Pinterest}
