Fern Fun

Andrea MaaseideComment

This is outside of our office door right now.

So lush and gorgeous!

I feel so inspired by these ferns and they seem to be ever-present in design.

I can remember collecting and pressing fern leaves as a young girl.  I probably could have had a framed collection like this! {Via Pinterest}

This fern wallpaper by Sanderson is a very traditional print.  The beautiful color ways - black and white and soft gray on white - keep it fresh and timeless.

One of our favorite vendors, Galbraith and Paul, has a lovely interpretation of the fern in their hand-blocked wallpapers and fabrics.   I just love these soft, cooler tones in the collection.

Schumacher has their own AMAZING version!

And then there's this chandelier... I'm drooling.

I think this light might be one of my favorite pieces I have seen in a while.  This thing is groovy. Called the "Palm Chandelier" and designed by New York designer Amanda Nisbet, this could totally be interpreted as ferns, so I had to include it.

All lit up!  Seriously... amazing! {Via: NiermannWeeks}

It even comes as a floor lamp!

Update... had to add these in.  Just found these close-up fern prints from Trowbridge Gallery.

Cheers!
